Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Royal Group of Hospitals Grounds Maintenance

Clive Richardson Limited were awarded the contract to carry out General Grounds Maintenance across the Royal Group of Hospitals Estate to meet the requirements of the Health and Social Care (HSC) in Northern Ireland.  Specifically CRL carry out the following three lots which relate to the Royal Group of Hospitals Estate:

• Lot 1 Section 1.1.4 Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Royal Group of Hospitals
• Lot 1 Section 1.1.5 Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Royal Group of Hospitals: Maintenance of Flower Beds, Rose Beds and Shrub Beds
• Lot 1 Section 1.1.6 Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Royal Group of Hospitals: Roads Paths and Flagged Areas

These lots represent all of the grounds maintenance to be carried out across the entirety of the Royal Group of Hospitals Estate.

Works/duties undertaken by CRL in the operational delivery of this contract typically include all planned, preventative and emergency works concerning the following tasks:

1. Flower Beds, Rose Beds and Shrub Beds
2. Annual Pruning
3. Weed Control
4. Boundary Hedges
5. Amenity Hedges
6. Grass Lawn class A Category
7. Grass Lawn Class B Category
8. Fallen Leaf Removal
9. Management of Existing Wild Flower Areas
10. Roads, Paths and Flagged Areas
11. Application of Moss/Lichen Inhibitor
12. Litter Collection (Litter Bins)
13. Litter Picking
14. Smoking Shelters
15. Bus Shelters
16. Site Signage and Litter Bin Cleaning
17. Cleaning of Furniture including Play Equipment
18. Mechanical Road Sweeping
19. Road Gully Cleaning
20. Tree Trimming and Branching

CRL have extensive experience of these works having carried out the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Royal Group of Hospitals Grounds Estate Maintenance works under a previous contract which ran from 1 September 2014 until the commencement of this new contract.
