Clive Richardson Limited were engaged by Cregagh Sports Club to install drainage at their Gibson Park Avenue grounds in Belfast. Works included the installation of a number of manholes, a new main drain, lateral drains connecting into the main drain, cricket wicket drains and replacement of part of the sewer pipe which was running across the site.
After installation of the primary drainage and associated works, the area had gravel bands installed and was top-dressed and over-seeded.
CRL also carried out full reinstatement of the site following drainage works.
Works were complicated by the presence of key electrical cable infrastructure running throughout the site. The drainage system had to be designed to account for this and ensure that no damage was caused to any of this during the works.
