Clive Richardson Limited were appointed by Crusaders Football Club to carry out the replacement of their 3G pitch at Seaview Stadium in Belfast.

Works included the removal of the existing pitch and infill materials using the Turfmuncher machine. This process ensured that the pitch was removed in perfect condition so that the club could relay it in a community project at Three Mile Water later in 2016. Infill materials were extracted, separated and transported to Three Mile Water for reuse. Footage of this can be seen on our YouTube Channel by clicking here

Following minor repair works to the existing engineered base, a new 50mm Domo VarioSlide S-Pro50 synthetic carpet was installed with a Trocellen shockpad. The carpet was infilled with silica sand and crumb rubber per the manufacturers guidelines.

The pitch was independently tested to the latest FIFA 2-Star standards upon completion. This certification enabled the Club to host FIFA and UFEA matches at the Stadium.

Works were carried out in a tight 6-week timeframe to enable the club to host UFEA Europa League Qualifying matches in late June 2016.
