Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council – Arboricultural Services Framework

Clive Richardson Limited were awarded a place on Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council’s Arboricultural Services Framework from the start of 2018 and have retained our place on the framework since this date.

The contract involves a wide range of tree maintenance works on an incremental basis across a number of Amenity Areas, Parks Golf Courses and Cemeteries which are owned or managed by the Council. The nature of the work required can be unpredictable, with a range of both planned and unplanned tasks.

The majority of the work involves Crown lifts, Crown thinning and Reduction, Branch removals, dead wooding, Full pruning, Pollarding Tree felling and Stump grinding. all works are to be carried out in accordance with all required legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidance.

There is also a requirement to provide emergency call out cover outside normal working hours including public holidays as required.

As most of the works are undertaken in public places which are regularly accessed by members of the public, CRL have responsibility for the formulation and implementation of suitable measures to ensure the safety of the public as well as members of staff carrying out the works.
