Loughgall Football Club – 3G Training Pitch

Clive Richardson Limited were awarded the contract in 2017 for the construction of a full-sized 3G Training Pitch for Loughgall Football Club. The pitch was constructed on land which previously had a small shale training area within the clubs existing grounds at Ballygasey Road in Loughgall.

Works involved extensive earthworks to shape the site and establish a platform on which to construct the pitch. A 3G pitch on a dynamic base was then construed on top of the platform. CRL also installed a range of  spectator, perimeter and ballstop fencing around the pitch. Various pitch equipment was also provided. As part of the works CRL also extended and re-stoned the existing car-park area. works were undertaken in phases to accommodate other works which the club were doing at the time.

CRL also carried out floodlight infrastructure works, including the installation of floodlight bases and ducting. The floodlights were subsequently installed by another contractor under a separate contract.

The pitch was independently tested and achieved FIFA Quality standard following its completion.
